The following donors have given generously to artists’ prizes for the Big Art Show 2023.

These prizes will be awarded on the evening of the opening of the exhibition on 31st August.

  1. The Paisley Shopping Centre Top Prize for best in show – £1,000 / Awarded to Lorna MacKay ‘The Holiday with Everything’
  2. Paisley First ‘Love Local, Love Paisley’ prize for best work featuring an aspect of Paisley – £400 / Awarded to Rebecca Johnstone ‘Paisley Town Hall’
  3. Future Paisley prize for a local artist of merit – £400 / Awarded to Elena Knox ‘Secret’
  4. Independent Financial Advice Centre (Glasgow) Limited – £300 / Awarded to Shubhangini Singh ‘Floating Through Dal’
  5. Clutha Trust prize for an emerging artist – £250 / Awarded to Wendy Ferguson
  6. One Ren Health and Wellbeing prizes – £150 and two runners-up prizes of £50 each / Awarded to Ipshita Debnath Wittenkamp Meyer ‘What Hides Behind The Smiling Mask’ / Rachel Woodward ‘The Dove’ / Gayle Calderwood ‘Fankle’
  7. Society of Scottish Arts prize – £200 plus one year’s free membership of SSA. / Awarded to Daniel Ibbotson ‘Sleep Patterns’
  8. The Henderson Property Prize – £200 / Awarded to Diana Blyth ‘Wonder Wall 1’
  9. Outspoken Arts Scotland prize for Digital work- £150 / Awarded to SJ Dryburgh ‘Lighters’
  10. Made in Paisley Prize – £150 / Awarded to Mason Mcduff ‘Dragon’
  11. Duais a’ chon mhòir (The Big Dog Prize) for an artist under 25 – £100 / Awarded to Laura MacAulay ‘Bound’
  12. Cass Art Prize – £100 gift voucher prize, gift bag, and offer of a 2-week Glasgow exhibition in 2024. / Awarded to Scott Forrest ‘Voyeur’
  13. The Sadie Sheppard Memorial Prize for Landscape – £100 / Awarded to Lindsey Hamilton ‘Sanctum’
