Art Exhibition 4-18 Oct 2022
Open 10am-4pm Tue-Sat
Launch Party 6 Oct, 11am-1pm
A chance to view some artwork, take part in an art workshop, meet some of the artists, hear some spoken word and mingle!
Meet the Author, 8 Oct, 2-4pm
An opportunity to meet Aidan Martin. Aidan’s debut book, a memoir, Euphoric Recall – discusses in detail his recovery from addiction and many traumas.
The Living Library of Lived Experience, 11 Oct, 11am-3pm
This event will have people enter a ‘library’ to interact with ‘living books’ in order to learn about dependency, stigma and recovery first hand. The library will be open to everyone who has an interest, curiosity or confirmed idea of what these concepts mean and is designed to offer a way to learn and reflect, encouraging room for personal change, hopefully leading to further changes across our society.
Christmas in Rehab, 15 Oct, 2-4pm
A short film based on a true story. Watch the film and meet some of the stars.
Youth Interventions Showcase, 17 Oct, 12-2pm
An opportunity to meet some of the staff and young people, find out about the work that they do and view the first live showing of their

To submit your work to be showcased in The Art of Recovery exhibition, please send the following information as well as examples of your work to: natalie@scottishrecoveryconsortium.org
Please supply: Name, Phone number, Locality, and a bit about you and your art.
Hand-in: Please note all artists will be required to drop art at 2-10 Causeyside Street, Paisley PA1 1UQ between 10am – 12pm on 4/10/22 and collect 17/10/22 between 10am-11am.
Living Library Participants
Would you like to volunteer to be part of a lived experience living library? You will be asked to share your lived experience of recovery and answer any questions from “readers” at the event.
