Studio 14 Exhibition

02/12/2022 - 31/12/2022

Free

Studio 14 has been operating in Paisley for over 11 years set up by Caroline Watson a Canadian Scot and graduate of Nova Scotia College of Art and Design who returned to Paisley where she was born and lives with her family, maintains her own art practice and enjoys being part of the area’s cultural life.

Starting out in the west end of the town before moving to the Abbeymill Business Centre, Studio 14 is located in one of the old thread mill buildings of Anchor Mills. The classes meet weekly bringing together people with an interest in art-making whether as a beginner returning to art after a long absence or those who seek to develop their skill and knowledge with art as a serious endeavour. Some of the members are exhibiting for the first time.

Studio 14 is pleased to take this opportunity to share the creative vision of individual members and always the hard work and persistence that is required to make art. We hope you enjoy the exhibition!

ARTWORKS FOR SALE

BJMS Photography (Works 1-9) was set up in early 2022 by Billy Stephen a 14 year old pupil from Park Mains High School in Erskine. With help from his parents Billy purchased an iphone when he started high school becoming interested in taking photographs and digital editing. He still uses his iPhone for snaps but his passion has grown and he now works with a Nikon D7200 turning to Adobe Lightbox for editing features. Billy’s main focus at this time is wildlife seeking out nature reserves in the central belt and elsewhere to capture the beauty of birds and other wild creatures.  Instagram: @bjmsphotos
