Workshop: How to make Jewellery

Lorna Romanenghi leads a creative workshop in how to make a piece of pendant jewellery.

Suitable age 15+

Jewellery making workshop to allow the students to be exposed to the many opportunities and career paths available to them in the Arts and Crafts industry. Introduction to jewellery making in metal class in which the students would be instructed in how to make a piece of jewellery, a pendant, that they could then take home with them.

Lorna Romanenghi is an emerging italo-scottish jewellery designer/maker recently graduated with a first-class honours from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art, Dundee.

Creating fine hand-crafted statement pieces of jewellery that honour the grandeur, beauty and elegance of nature in a contemporary style. Specialising in traditional hand-crafting methods using a mixture of precious and alternative metals, such as combining silver with fire-stained titanium.
