Scott Capurro

Comedian first appearing at Glasgay! in 2001

American-born comedian Scott Capurro first appeared at the festival in 2001 and has returned a few times since. He has travelled all around the world with his provocative show, referring often to gay life and culture, politics, race and racism, and popular culture. In 2002, Capurro presented a light-hearted documentary on the UK’s Channel 4 called The Truth About Gay Animals which examined the subject of homosexuality in animals. He also played the role of “Aunt” Jack Hillard in MRS DOUBTFIRE.
