Supporting Creativity

We recommend to our partners using the following toolkit to aid their process of creative inquiry.  Not everyone will need or want to fill it in and perhaps you might just use to help design a workshop session, to stimulate discussion and gather people’s thoughts and feedback.

Our Engagement Manager will work to gather the written part of the forms and, of course you too can design your own questions and written answers if you wish.

In association with Outspoken Arts Scotland, TMS will co-produce a number of exciting events with local, national and international talent for its next edition in May 2019.  WATCH THIS SPACE!

Take Me Somewhere is Glasgow’s new festival of contemporary performance, building on the legacy of The Arches following its closure in 2015. The festival combines the best home-grown talent with some of the world’s most cutting-edge contemporary performers as part of an exciting programme of events.

Take Me Somewhere aims to provide a crucial support structure to Scotland’s most innovative and exciting community of artists and makers. The festival was founded in 2017 by Jackie Wylie, now Artistic Director of the National Theatre of Scotland, with the inaugural festival proving to be a huge success with both critics and audiences, selling out at venues across Glasgow.

The 2019 festival will take place in May and will be led by Artistic Director LJ Findlay-Walsh.
